💗 Vagina Steam Co.

Safety & Comfort Guide

Please read this before your first steam. A few minutes here keeps your ritual gentle and safe.

The single most important rule: steam should feel pleasantly warm, never hot. Hot steam can burn delicate skin. Always let the steam cool and test it with your hand and the inside of your wrist before you sit. If it feels too warm at any moment, stand up and wait for it to cool.

Please do NOT steam if you:

  • Are pregnant, think you might be pregnant, or are trying to conceive in the second half of your cycle
  • Have an IUD or other intrauterine device
  • Are menstruating with heavy flow (wait until it's light or finished)
  • Have an active infection, unusual discharge, irritation, itching, or any open sores or cuts
  • Have a vaginal piercing (remove it first)
  • Have any condition your doctor has told you to keep cool, or that you're unsure about

Steam gently

  • Keep sessions to about 10–20 minutes. Longer is not better.
  • Keep a comfortable distance from the steam. You should feel soft warmth, not intensity.
  • Steam occasionally, not daily. Let your body guide the rhythm.
  • Stop immediately if you feel any burning, stinging, dizziness, or discomfort.

Handle hot water carefully

  • The copper pot and water are hot — carry and place them carefully, and keep them away from children and pets.
  • Set everything on a stable, level surface so nothing can tip.
  • Make sure your steam seat is steady before you sit.

About the herbs

Our blends are made from naturally dried, food- and skin-friendly herbs chosen for their gentleness and aroma. They are intended for relaxation and self-care. If you have allergies, are sensitive to any plant, or have any doubt, patch-test the steam on your inner forearm first, and check with your healthcare provider.

When in doubt, ask a professional

Vaginal steaming is a traditional wellness ritual, not a medical treatment, and it is not a substitute for medical care. If you have any symptom, condition, or concern — or you're simply not sure whether steaming is right for you — please talk with a qualified healthcare provider before you begin.

By using our products you agree to follow this guidance and to steam at your own comfort and discretion. Please reach out any time with questions — we're glad to help you steam safely.
